Les Mis Chapter 2 Book 2 First Impressions

 In this chapter what really stuck out to me is that the convict who has never recieved any form of postive action for him finally meets the bishop who as we know is a very selfless person who offers help to the convict.

In this Chapter the bishop travels and says he will be back. He leaves in order to not confront some bandits who stole from the catherdral. He just talks to them and tells them what he thinks. Thats what I understood from this chapter.

October 20 Journal If I found a lottery ticket that gave me 50 million people I would instatly try to stay quiet about it because as soon as people find out that someone has money they all start showing affections just because of the money. Probaly the first thing that I would do is buy a house for my parents so they dont have to worry about that. Another thing I would do is make sure that all of my and my siblings educations are paid for. I dont know what i would do with the rest of the money but I would try to save it.
